Le M Scaler possède une détection pour le PAL 2:2 et le NTSC 3:2 Pulldown donnant des résultats cinématographiques avec les DVD.

Il améliore grandement les résultats avec les vidéoprojecteurs ou les plasma qui en général, possèdent un simple désentrelaceur et un scaler informatique.

La résolution de sortie peut être configurée jusqu'au 1080p avec un taux de rafraichissement variable.

Opération

Le scaler est pilotable par télécommande infrarouge et toutes les indications sont affichées à l'écran.

Les réglages d'image, de ratio pour l'image et l'écran. Des ratios personnels peuvent être créés, ainsi que des résolutions et taux de rafraichissements prédéfinis peuvent être facilement mis en place.

Les propriétaires de projecteurs numériques apprécieront le réglage de gamma qui améliorera le traitement des scènes sombres.

2 réglages individuels par entrée et par sortie peuvent être mémorisés.

Entrées

Le M Scaler possède 1 entrée composite, 1 S-Video, 1 Composantes YUV et a en option 2 prise PERITEL RGB pour une meilleure qualité.

Une entrée VGA ou HDTV en pass-thru permet la connection d'un ordinateur ou d'une source HDTV. La synchro du signal entré peut être modifié pour assurer une compatibilité maximale.

Sorties

Sortie RGBHV sur connecteur standard SubD-HD15.

Tous les standarts supportés peuvent être activés à la télécommande: YPrPb, RGBHV, RGBS, RGsB.

ENHANCEMENT

M has full control for detail enhancement for all input signals including YPrPb and RGB sources.
M is also one of the few scalers that comes with a 10 Bit AD-converter, ensuring highest image quality possible. Razor sharp images with natural colors are the result.

SPECIALS

M is controlled using a very intuitive OnScreenDisplay without having any operation controls at the unit itself.
There are 2 memory blocks per input output configuration, so individuals aspect ratios or output resolutions may be recalled by the touch of a button.
The output resolution is adjustable inbetween 480p and 1080p, with any integer value inbetween selectable.
Same is true for the vertical refresh that is programmable in 0,01 Hz increments from
48 to 75 Hz.
For an easy operation there are 8 predefined output resolution that may be recalled directly via discrete remote buttons.
The fact that M can convert frame rates makes it virtually a 100% compatible to all displays, e.g. converting a 50Hz Pal input to 768p with 60 Hz.
The unit has no light emitting LED on the front so light pollution has been kept to a minimum.

OPERATION

M is offering some unique features when switched to the service mode.
The unit has several test patterns build in, so CRT owner may adjust their registration with a cross hatch or tune colormetry using the built in PLUGE signal with several IRE levels.
Definetely unique in the industry is the ability to program the RGB levels for correct GAMMA and 6500K reproduction for 0,20,40,60,80,100 IRE.
Overall Black level may be programmed as the user has the choice in the input configuration of clamping the signal to
0 or 7,5 IRE.


Option

Le M Scaler peut être commandé sans entrées PERITEL RGB. Le firmware est upgradable par RS232 mais l'entrée PERITEL est nécessaire pour cela.
